A competition titled “Kazakh Altai – Land of Experiences” has been announced in the East Kazakhstan Region for entrepreneurs and representatives of the tourism industry. The competition is dedicated to World Tourism Day.
The competition is organized by the Tourism and Investment Department of the East Kazakhstan Region. Its main objective is to identify and recognize the best representatives of the tourism industry who contribute to the quality development and promotion of the region’s tourism potential.
Participants can compete in six categories:
- “Best Guest House in East Kazakhstan Region – 2026”;
- “Best Recreation Centre in East Kazakhstan Region – 2026”;
- “Wellness Facility of East Kazakhstan Region – 2026”;
- “Best Tour Operator in East Kazakhstan Region – 2026”;
- “Best Tourism Blogger in East Kazakhstan Region – 2026”;
- “For Active Coverage of Tourism Development Issues”.
Applications will be accepted until September 21, 2026.

The competition aims to recognize and support tourism industry representatives who develop tourism products, create quality conditions for travellers and contribute to promoting East Kazakhstan as an attractive tourism destination.
