It has rocky mountain peaks with a height of 2350 meters above sea level, at the foot of which there are a large number of lakes of glacial origin. Cherny uzel (the black knot) is the place where the ridges intersect, and form a knot. Turgusun ridge in this place is higher than the adjacent Ivanovsky. Rising to a height of more than two and a half kilometers, it "catches" passing clouds and therefore is weather-forming. Rains and thunderstorms are very frequent there, the sky is gloomy and black - hence the name of this place - the Black Knot. According to some reports, there are up to 39 lakes of glacial origin in the valley of the Black Knot.
